Grand Vacation Blog Hop November | Bring on the BLING!
7:50:00 AM
Thank you for joining us this month for our Incentive Trip/Grand Vacation Blog hop. These are the Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world that have achieved the Mediterranean Cruise next year. And, my amazing wife Kylie Bertucci is one of those. So, technically, I am not an 'achiever.' However, I am a Supporting Stampin' Up! Demonstrator which I guess makes me a 'co-achiever.'
This month the theme is "Bring on the Bling." I feel as though that text should be flashing.
Currently you are visiting my blog Bruno Bertucci - stampinbruno. As you scroll down, you will see a line-up of those participating in the blog hop. You will be amazed at some of the awesome work by some demonstrators so make sure you 'hop' around to all the blogs on the list and leave a comment if you like it.
Today's Project - The Eternity Ring
When I think about bling, I think about jewellery and rings. According to tradition (or according to Wikipedia);
"An eternity ring, also known as an infinity ring, is a lady's ring, worn on the hand, comprising a band of precious metal set with a continuous line of identically cut gemstones to symbolize never-ending love, usually given by a husband to his wife on the occasion of a significant anniversary, typically 50 years after marriage. "
I thought that rather than waiting another 38 years to give one to Kylie, I will give her one today - in the form of this card.
The two stamps I used are from a new set available in the 2016 Occasions Catalogue called Project Life Memories in the Making. The circular element just reminds me of a ring (maybe a ring you would make in art class). And, I love the small 'YOU + ME' sentiment - its just perfect for the middle of the ring. I silver embossed both of them. How many carats?
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Bruno Bertucci - stampinbruno, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Bruno.. you might need to do slightly better in the eternity ring department lol... but having said that... I do like your card!
ReplyDeleteummmmmmm the card is lovely..... but it doesn't get you out of the real thing! lol. I would say it is 50 carats - the size of my eternity ring that will come way before 50 years of marriage.... Just saying.
