We met Connie at ..... the Karaoke Bar! Every night! Connie and her family LOVE singing. Good thing they are extremely good singers. Us ..... we like to have fun! Do you need evidence of this? This was taken on the Allure of the Seas while we were cruising the Caribbean in 2014.

So, on with the show ..... here are two separate Sale-a-Bration 2016 products I used to make this card;

Can I just say - this is an AWESOME set of cards. Whether you are into Project Life or not, these cards are amazingly versatile as you will see by my project today.

And, here is the card I ended up with;


I used a card base of white. Then, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive layers over the top. Then, atop that, I used one of the specialty Project Life cards. The card I selected is pre-embossed. So, using the emboss-resist technique, I used the aqua painter with the ink from the re-inker (undiluted because I wanted the vibrant colour) and just quickly painted across the card.


For the sentiment, I stamped the image on white card stock and circle punched. I then circle punched (larger) the Specialty Project Life card (it is sooo cool - its acetate and transparent with an image printed on it) and stapled to the sentiment and stuck down with dimensionals.
