Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop | Number of Years
12:00:00 PMThanks so much for stopping by today. Today, I'm having a part in the blog hop with the Stamp Review Crew. This is a group of stamping enthusiasts - each blog hop features ONE STAMP SET, thus showing how versatile that particular set it. Want to know more about me? Click here to find out.
Today, the hop revolves around a stamp set called 'Number of Years.' My card today was made for My One and Only - Kylie.
This pic was taken on the last Stampin' Up! incentive trip CRUISE (of the Caribbean). I CANT WAIT for May when we will be heading to the Mediterranean for another cruise. This card is to thank-you Kylie for turning the hobby into a business. Do you want to learn more about joining Kylie's amazing performing team? Scroll down to the bottom to learn more.
Todays Project
OK, now thats out of the way, lets talk about todays project. When I saw that the theme was using this stamp set - i had this in my mind.
I stamped the '1' on white and used the matching framelits to cut out. (Click on any of the pictures below to buy them now from our store.)
Number of Years | Photopolymer Stamp Set
Large Numbers | Framelits Dies
I then used the banner framelit to cut out a banner. I then used the 'Alphabet Rotary Stamp' for the extra text.
I love this pattern DSP from the paper stacks. It is so striking and modern. And, the colour combination is from this weeks challenge over at the Global Design Project.
I love using dimensionals and this was a perfect opportunity to use them. Granted, four layers of dimensionals is a little overkill. But, I love the effect.
I really appreciate you stopping by today. Want to make sure you don't miss any of my posts? Click here to receive them by email.

As mentioned in my post, the colours used on this card were inspired by the Global Design Project this week. Here is the inspiration sketch;Funny story - I showed my card to my mother-in-law who was visiting. Her response? It reminds me of the Commonwealth Bank. Yeah - that was the look I was after! Lol!

What a fun card for Kylie and I know she'll love it! I think the diagonals are striking and I love the banner topping it. That Rotary Alphabet stamp comes in handy, doesn't it?! :)
