We have some incredible projects to show you today. What we are MOST excited about is having the talented Sarah Berry from UK hopping along with us. We met Sarah and Tom on the incentive trip this past May and we (as was everyone who met him) were thoroughly charmed by their son Matthew.

Inspiration

So, not only are we hopping with Sarah, but the theme for the hop is 'Case-ing Sarah Berry.' There are a number of ways to interpret CASE.

  • CASE - Copy and Share Everything (or with Everybody)
  • CASE - Copy and Selectively Edit

The second definition is the one that I like and am using for the the card today.

Here is the card of Sarah's that I am CASE-ing

The main thing Im CASE'ing is the layout.

My Card

Here is the card I ended up with;

I used the small stamps from the Thoughtful Banners set and stamped across the page to create the horizontal band using these colours;

The words I selected describe a particular friend that I am going to send this to.

I then mounted this on a piece of Dapper Denim (using foam adhesive strips) and then mounted this onto a simple white card.

I then used the sentiment from the Scenic Sayings set and used the three coloured markers and coloured directly onto the stamp to create a three-colour stamp.

I then added a small Dapper Denim embellishment and mounted this onto the card using dimensionals.

  9. Love the colour combination. Also love your take on Sarah's card. Most people will do this vertically, but you did it horizontally. A different approach!
