Thank you for joining us this month for our Mediterranean Achievers Blog-Hop. These Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world have achieved the Mediterranean Cruise this May. And, my amazing wife Kylie Bertucci is one of those. So, technically, I am not an 'achiever.' However, I am a Supporting Stampin' Up! Demonstrator makes me a 'co-achiever.'
This month the theme;
Baby Love
Currently you are visiting my blog Bruno Bertucci - stampinbruno. As you scroll down, you will see a line-up of those participating in the blog hop. You will be amazed at some of the awesome work by some demonstrators so make sure you 'hop' around to all the blogs on the list and leave a comment if you like it.
Today's Project
We do not have kids. But, we love kids. As such, here is the card I ended up with;
I got the idea because there were a few strips of some of the brand new designer series paper leftover after one of Kylies projects. I didn't want to throw them out - so I repurposed them as a form of baby clothing.
I used the Baby Love stamp set and embossed in copper. I then used the Babys First Framelits kit to cut out the clothing. How did I make the clothes? See the pic below;
I assembled the three strips of paper/card as shown. The mid-panel was selected as the main colour of the paper. Speaking of the paper - you are going to LOVE it! It is called Affectionately Yours and has some specialty sheets. Put it this way - If you liked Shine On DSP (and you know that I LOVED IT), then this is the paper for you! The designer series paper is not available to purchase yet. But, it will be available VERY soon! I can't wait for you to see it! Why wait - here is a sneak peek for you!!
Interestingly, the first two sheets have copper embossing on them, are single sided and heavier grade paper.
Back to the card - the sentiment is from the same stamp set. I wanted something cute and small. lol
So, what do you think?
