2013 Stampin' Up! Grand Holiday - MDS Photobook Layout 2 | Santa Monica 1

3:15:00 PM

OK, so that first page inspired me to do more and blog it here. So, here are pages 2 and 3. We had 12 hours in LA, and we didn't really have anything planned. When we were in Australia, we planned to go to Disneyland. But, after flying for 14 hours - that was DEFINITELY off the cards. So, we went down to Santa Monica and then walked down to Venice Beach. Imagine that these pages are side-by-side.

Page 2

  • Layout - I used a page from the 'Check this Out' Page 12x12 pages designer template
  • Background Paper - from the Background Papers tab on the right, I clicked on 'Colour' and selected 'Bashful Blue'
  • Photos - the designer template has rounded edges on the photo boxes already. Rather than dragging and dropping the photos into the photo boxes, on this template, they are actually 'punches'. So to get the photos where they needed to be, I selected the item and then on the punches tab on the right, I clicked on 'Photo Fill'. I added drop shadows as well. The bottom right box is filled with Designer Series Paper from the 'Then and Now' set.
  • Text - Font 'Press Style' downloaded from the internet, size 120, coloured 'Calypso Coral'
  • Embellishments - From the 'Downtown Grunge' range, I used the 'Zig Zag Stitching' and 'Tape 1'. The item at the top is preloaded with the template.

  • Layout - Again, I used a page from the 'Check this Out' Page 12x12 pages designer template
  • Background Paper - from the 'Then and Now' Designer Series Paper set
  • Photos - the designer template has rounded edges on the photo boxes already. Rather than dragging and dropping the photos into the photo boxes, on this template, they are actually 'punches'. So to get the photos where they needed to be, I selected the item and then on the punches tab on the right, I clicked on 'Photo Fill'. I added drop shadows as well. One of the photo boxes is filled with Designer Series Paper from the 'Then and Now' set.
  • Embellishments - The Washi Tape is preloaded with the template and can be rotated as you wish. I left it as is.
