Today, I made a card with the design team over at Freshly Made Sketches and I have included the sketch below;


And, here is the card I came up with;

There is a lot about this card that is not typical of my usual cards; I have been wanting to use this embossing folder (Confetti) for ages and this was a perfect opportunity, I am not usually a sponge dauber and this was a nice chance to and I don't usually use more than one ink colour and this seemed to suit this idea perfectly.


I love this stamp set - Sunburst Sayings. I love all of the fonts used on this set (and, if you know me, you know that fonts are VERY important to me). The dots are from the same set. I stamped them in Delightful Dijon and used the sponge dauber in the same colour on the embossed folder and one of the oval layers.


The ovals are so elegant - do you like to use them? This was a very easy card and you can make it too - its so easily replicable.
