Thanks for Being You | Can You Case It - Colour Challenge | CYCI#105

Thanks for stopping by today! Im so grateful that you have. Today, I am playing along with a colour challenge set by the design team over at Can You Case It? Ive included the inspiration below;
I couldn't choose which red to use - so I used them ALL;
- Real Red
- Cherry Cobbler
- Cajun Craze
- Rose Red
- Watermelon Wonder
And, here is the card I ended up with;
I used the It's Wild background stamp from the annual catalogue. I added all of the different shades of red to the stamp and then the stripes of black over the top and then stamped it. I love the effect it created. And, I love how it looks on the Watermelon and Crumb Cake.
The sentiment is from the Suite Sayings set from the Occasions Catalogue and is white embossed on black.
As I was about to stick it down, I bumped the card and the bottom element moved which gave me the idea of rotating the bottom oval. I love how it looks slightly rotated. And, it I love the linen thread and vellum also.
What do you think? Have you tried using different colours on the background stamps like that before?

Wow, this whole card is amazing. I love how you created the patterned piece! I don't have that background stamp and have been on the fence about getting it. You may have tipped me over into needing it :)
