Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop | Jar of Love

11:00:00 AM

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Today, I'm having a part in the blog hop with the Stamp Review Crew once again. This is a group of stamping enthusiasts - each blog hop features ONE STAMP SET, thus showing how versatile that particular set it. Have you just arrived here from Charlene Harreveld?  If so - thanks for visiting!

Today, the hop revolves around a stamp set called 'Jar of Love.' It is an awesome set with a matching set of framelits.

This set is fantastic! This is a set of THIRTY SEVEN Photopolymer stamps. And, there are matching framelits which are a PERFECT accompaniment to the stamps. Buy as a bundle and save $$$$.

As you travel around this hop, you will see some AMAZING uses for this set.

My Card

When designing this card, I immediately was drawn to the sentiment 'Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti.' So, that was the starting point. I thought about making confetti by punching - then I saw that one of the stamps looks like a piece of confetti. So, I decided to create my own using ink and stamps.

Flirty Flamingo is not a colour I would normally choose to use. But, I wanted to make a Shaker Card and wanted to use sequins. I remembered there were some cooooooool coloured sequins as a part of the 'Good Vibes' Project Life Accessory Kit. So, I used them. There are some COOL COOL items in that pack. So, since this was going to be the colour of the sequins, I used the same colours for the 'confetti' on the background - Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo and Copper (Stampin' Emboss Powder).

Shaker cards are soooooo much easier using Foam Adhesive strips. Have you tried them yet? YOU MUST!!!

Do you notice the Copper Layer? This is a BRAND NEW (not yet available to purchase) product. It is Copper Foil Sheets. You are going to LOVE it! It will be available for you to purchase from September 1, 2016 as a part of the new Stampin' Up! 2016 Holiday Catalogue. Do you have a copy yet? If not and you would like a copy, please click here to register to receive one (Australian Residents only).

Such an AWESOME sentiment. How different would the world be if everyone applied this? I cut it out and mounted using some more Foam Adhesive Strips.

  10. Hey Bruno! I love the clean and graphic design of your card and how you started with the sentiment, then the colour palette from the sequins and then the 'confetti' stamp ... it turned out so well. I must make a shaker card with the new foam strips.
