Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop | Foxy Friends

11:00:00 AM

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Today, I'm having a part in the blog hop with the Stamp Review Crew once again. This is a group of stamping enthusiasts - each blog hop features ONE STAMP SET, thus showing how versatile that particular set it. Have you just arrived here from Martha Inchleys blog?  If so - thanks for visiting!

Today, the hop revolves around a stamp set called 'Foxy Friends.' It is an awesome set with a matching builder punch.

This set is fantastic! This is a set of TWENTY NINE Photopolymer stamps. And, there are matching framelits which are a PERFECT accompaniment to the stamps. Buy as a bundle and save $$$$.

As you travel around this hop, you will see some AMAZING uses for this set.

My Card

As you will see from some of my recent projects, I have enjoyed stamping the same image multiple times to create a pattern. This was no different.

I started with a piece of Tip Top Taupe and just stamped away. Before I knew it, I had covered the entire piece.

I then stamped the fox onto Vanilla card stock and using the framelits, cut out the fox.

As a part of the set, there is a corner branch. Since they are photopolymer, I 'straightened' the stamp and used mint macaron to stamp on a piece of Vanilla.

I then mounted on a piece of Very Vanilla using dimensionals and then onto the Delightful Dijon card base using foam adhesive strips. The sentiment is from the thoughtful banners set. I used the coordinating punch to cut out and then mounted using foam adhesive strips.

Finally, I stamped the eyes. I was originally going to leave it 'eye-less' but decided to stamp it last minute. Of course, since it had already been stuck down to the card, I mis-stamped it. To cover the mis-stamp, I used some of the metal elements in Emerald Envy to give it a more google-eye look.
