Blog Hop
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Today, I'm having a part in the blog hop with the Stamp Review Crew once again. This is a group of stamping enthusiasts - each blog hop features ONE STAMP SET, thus showing how versatile that particular set it.Today, the hop revolves around a stamp set called 'Paisleys and Posies.'
This is a modern twist on a classic shape. It isn't your grandmother's paisley pattern - though she'd definitely like it. When i first saw this, I wasn't sold. But, I really like it now.
Here are the colours I started with - I was inspired to use the Cajun Craze after looking at a piece of designer series paper (which I ended up using).
Here is the project I ended up with;
I wanted to keep the card very simple. I like the paisley flower most of the images. And, the sentiment is great too. I had planned to use more of the images with more cut-outs using the framelits. But, in the end, I liked it with only one.
Confession - the oval element was unplanned. You see, I made the mistake of stamping the sentiment on the card AFTER I had stuck it down. And, of course, it stamped VERY badly. So, I introduced this element and I rather like how it ended up.
I really appreciate you stopping by today. Want to make sure you don't miss any of my posts? Click here to receive them by email.
