It is so much fun using new stamp sets! When I say new, I not only mean new to my possession, but newly available! As a result of my going to the OnStage event in Melbourne, I received some new stamp sets and was able to order some additional sets as a part of a pre-order. Todays card is a mash-up of old and new; one set is from the Annual Catalogue, available to purchase now and the other set is from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue (available soon). Im playing along with the design team at Can You Case It? Below is the inspiration for the colour challenge this week;

Things I love about this card:

Stamp Sets - I love both of the stamp sets I used. The new stamp is from the 'You're So Lovely' stamp set. It is a 12-stamp photopolymer set (see below). The other set is the 'I Think You're Great' and is such a versatile set.


Burlap - I love the rustic effect the use of burlap gives to a card. I also love linen thread for the same reason.


Mini Staples - Can you see them? Look at the edges of the burlap ribbon. Not only does it give a firm sturdy fixing to the card, it is a cool design element.


Colours - These colours are my type of colours. I love them! Ive assembled an image that showcases the colours and the card together.
