Hi readers - thanks so much for stopping by. We have an awesome Blog Hop today - Make sure you sign up to receive my blog posts via email so you don't miss out. Click here to do it now.

Welcome to our International Blog Hop. Im married to a successful Stampin' Up! demonstrator from Australia - Kylie Bertucci. The group of demonstrators from around the world that are participating in this blog hop have gathered together to give you ideas and inspiration using the latest Stampin' Up!® products that are available to purchase right now(*).

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

My wife and I live in Australia. If you are from anywhere in Australia, we would love to assist you with purchasing Stampin' Up!® product or receiving catalogues. If not, we have friends worldwide we can recommend to you.

My Card

Here is the card I made for this Blog Hop.

I made a card last week that highlighted the use of Stampin' Up! markers. And, afterwards, I had an idea of using lots of different colours - and this is the result.

I used FIFTEEN different markers (the thick, paintbrush-like end) and coloured the stamp. I then 'huffed' on the stamp to moisten the ink (it almost dries instantly). Have you tried the 'huffing' technique? Here is a Stampin' Up! video from last year that shows it.

So, after I stamped the image, I cut it out (using scissors). I then cut out two circles (using the Layering Circles framelits).

I then mounted this on a white base using both dimensionals and foam adhesive strips. I then mounted the stamped image using foam adhesive strips.

I thought about mounting it on a white card, but I wanted a real pop of colour, so I used one of the colours used on the stamped image and mounted it on a tempting turquoise card.

And thats it! Can you think of cool ways you can make your stamped images more colourful?
