2013 Stampin' Up! Grand Holiday - MDS Photobook Layout 8 | St. Regis Deer Valley 1
5:19:00 PM
As I mentioned in the last post, Kylie was EXTREMELY sick from Altitude sickness. It was a Sunday Morning, and I was up and about, wanting to go out around town exploring. Kylie managed to get up out of bed, and make it to the couch. It was pretty bad. But, that day, at 1pm, we were transferring from Salt Lake City to Deer Valley to start the week of activities as a part of the Incentive Trip we made sure we weren't going to miss that bus! Our destination was the St. Regis Resort. It was nothing short of SPECTACULAR.
Here is the double page spread (pages 14 and 15) of our arrival in Deer Valley.
Page 14 - Left Page
Template - I started from a blank page - no template used on this page.
Background - I wanted the photo to be the star of this layout.
Photos - I didn't want the three small photos to dominate so I set them to 80% Opacity.
Stamps - I used the 'Number One' background stamp. It is set as 80% opacity.
Paper - I used a sheet from the 'Soho Subway' set. It is set to 25% opacity. Can you see it? It is aligned under the background stamp used above.
Embellishments - I used the square stitching from the 'Downtown Grunge' set as a frame/highlight to the three small photos.

- Template - I started from a blank page - no template used on this page.
- Background - I used the Designer Series Paper from the 'Pocket Cards' kit. It is a blackboard look. I love it!
- Photos - Our camera has an awesome panorama feature. I wanted the full extent of all of the photos to be shown.
- Embellishments - I used an antique brad in the title.
- Stamps - The 'Documenting' is actually a stamp. It is from the 'Rise and Shine' set. I didnt want it to dominate so it is set as 25% opacity.
- Font - This is probably my fave font at the moment. I wanted something classy that would represent how classy the Resort was. But, I wanted something different. I downloaded the font called 'Airbag' and used it for the title.
